This Blissful Days post is dedicated to the new Mr. and Mrs. Finn! Weddings are the absolute best, so full of family, friends, love and wine!
Rob and I attended a good friend’s wedding yesterday that was held at Garre Winery in Livermore inside their stunning events center, Bella Rosa. I couldn’t wait to check out the venue because all of the pictures online have made it look incredible. The pictures did not lie. The ceremony was held under the big oak tree and a short walk up the path to Bella Rosa for the cocktail hour and reception.
I kicked off the celebration with a glass of Garre Sparkling that was readily available on the bar. My girlfriends couldn’t get enough of the sparkling, but I wanted to switch to red so I let them keep the staff busy popping bottles all night. I opted to try the blend that was offered, Profound Secret. I am a huge fan of blends plus the label was colorful. I know, I know. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover or a bottle of wine by it’s label, but I’m a sucker. It was such a relaxing blend that it went well with the truffle mac and cheese appetizer (served on a spoon), the asparagus, steak and cheesy potatoes that I enjoyed during dinner. Delicious! We haven’t been to Garre in quite a while, but their portfolio has really expanded that I think we need to take an official trip there soon. They even have a cafe onsite, which helps with a full day of tasting.
Cheers to the happy couple and many years of love and happiness!
