Sarah’s philosophy is that every occasion; a wedding, job promotion, Friday night after a tough week or even sitting at a Pai Gow table in Las Vegas should be celebrated with a glass of bubbly in hand. Her reviews will be casual, just like her. Descriptions will be basic and typically consist of a great place to drink said wine.
Rob is a die-hard foodie…whether he’s dining out at a Michelin star restaurant or the tacqueria up the street, he makes sure to have the right botte of wine on hand to fully enjoy the experience. Pour, swirl, sniff, and pair…risotto or burrito, he’s got it covered.
Judi never does anything short, be it children (even at 5′ 10″, all 3 kids outgrew me), a voicemail message, a menu for family & friends, a day of visiting wineries, or a wine pour. Especially the latter; wine glasses are large for a reason! My daughter-in-laws and their friends have a measure called The Judi-Pour. I think that means we have blessedly good relationships, ‘cuz my name could be attached to worse. Sparkling wines are my go-to, but there is always a time for a peppery Pinot Noir or a crisp Pinot Grigio. Or a chill Sauvignon Blanc poolside or a toasty Cab in hand while playing bocce or a frizzante after work or…..
John Daddy pants. Grills a mean steak and his wine fridge is definitely bigger than yours. Believes that if a winery has more than 10 employees, it’s probably too big. Buys wine faster than he drinks it, but who cares?
