This year’s San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition was the not only the largest competition of its kink in the world, it broke its own record for the number of wines entered. Over 7,000 wines from across the country competed for awards in a dizzying number of categories. We were thrilled to learn that some of our favorite wineries won awards!
So how do we define our “favorite” wineries? All of the wineries that we have visited are our favorites, of course! Less favorite are the wineries that we haven’t visited yet. Simple, yet effective system, you must admit. Here is a list of award winning wines submitted by our favorite wineries. If something catches your eye, just click on the winery’s name to see our review. Apologies in advance for the inevitable mistakes. Sorting through massive lists is not really my strong suit.
