After a great tour and tasting at Champagne Taittinger, we decided to tour one more high-profile champagne house. Without hesitation, we made our way to Champagne Pommery.
The Ports of Eagle Ridge Vineyard
Eagle Ridge Vineyard has built a reputation for producing fine wines for more than ten years. In addition to fine Zinfandels, Petite Sirahs, Cabernet Sauvignons, and even a few blends, there is also a respectable library of Ports. We recently stopped in for a taste of their latest Port release.

Downtown Forestville, near Santa Rosa in California, is a hidden jewel for people like us who are always searching for wineries to explore. Not to press the metaphor too far, but one winery not to be missed is actually called Joseph Jewell!
