It was the depths of winter in Livermore and we were feeling sorry for ourselves. There were clouds in the sky and the temperature was barely breaking into the 60s. Then we remembered our friends and family back east, struggling through snowbanks and sub-zero temperatures. To salve our bruised emotions we decided to further celebrate our wise decision to move to California and do some wine tasting at Concannon Vineyard.

Although no longer the newest winery in Livermore, Embodied Wines still has new things to discover. We recently went back to catch up with everything that 2019 had brought.
Harvest season in wine country is a magical time! Everywhere you look there are vineyards heavy with fruit. We started our tasting tour on a high note: McGrail Vineyards.
One of the many benefits to wine club membership is the ability to enjoy all of the facilities of the winery without any guilty feelings. Recently, we had a beautiful, sunny afternoon to spend wine tasting so we dropped by one of our favorite wine club hosts: Ruby Hill Winery.
