Upcoming: Taste Our Terroir 2017

An annual highlight of the Livermore Valley wine scene is the annual Taste Our Terroir weekend. Great news: it is time to choose your events for this year’s celebration! Here is what is just around the corner.

LVTOTC3This year, there are 13 different events between July 21st and the 24th, each striving for your attention. The centerpiece event is the food and wine pairing  competition at Casa Real on Thursday night. Twenty local winemakers and chefs are paired to present their very best food and wine pairings. The creations will be judged by Catherine Fallis of PlanetGrape.com, Carolyn Jung of FoodGal.com and Ian White of San Francisco Magazine, plus the ever-popular People’s Choice award based on attendee voting. Add the amazing dessert room (provided by Sysco) and the silent auction and you have a recipe for an amazing evening.

This event sells out every year, so don’t delay ordering your tickets! VIP tickets  are $125  and grant access to the event at 5pm (one hour early). General admission tickets are $85 in advance and $95 after July 1st.

Have lunch in the garden, a lobster boil, or a progressive dinner spanning three wineries. Then you can wrap up the weekend with an in-depth exploration of Port. So many choices!

The only difficult part of the entire weekend is choosing which events to attend. Order tickets soon so that these popular sessions don’t get away. See you there!
