Tiktok, face masks, and sherry-finished whiskies – some things scream “the 2020’s”, and one of them doesn’t suck! Okay, so it isn’t strictly wine tasting, but who wouldn’t want to compare and contrast two lovely bottles of whisky from Laphroaig?

Hawaii is known for sun, sand, and surf. During our recent visit to the Big Island, we added a fun new experience to our visit to the Kīlauea volcano, a tasting at Volcano Winery!

Our day of exploring wineries of the Russian River was drawing to a close. We had just one more stop on our schedule and it was a good one: Russian River Vineyards!

The Taste of Route 116 was in full swing. It was time to explore a new winery: Furthermore Wines!

A favorite Russian River Valley winery was participating in a favorite annual event, the Taste of Route 116. That made it an easy decision: let’s visit Taft Street Winery next!

One of our favorite annual events was upon us once again. The Taste of Route 116 represented a great reason to drive up to the Russian River Valley and we couldn’t wait to check in with our “home” winery, Balletto Vineyards.

Creativity and art can be expressed in many forms. During our visit to Paso Robles, we enjoyed a wonderful intersection of sculpture and wine when we made our first visit to Sculpterra Winery.

It is easy to forget that there is more to a winemaking region than just wine. Sometimes, though, the past and the present are melding beautifully, like at B&E Vineyard in Paso Robles.

Our second day of winetasting in Paso Robles was going well, and that trend continued when we visited Le Vigne Winery.
