2017 Holiday Gift Guide

The Thanksgiving leftovers have been put away and taken back out again for additional meals and the neighbors already have their icicle lights up and inflatable Minnie and Mickey on the lawn, which means it’s time to stop slacking and get this Christmas shopping started! While on-line shopping has made the shopping experience easier (hello wine and yoga pants), it has not made the chore of picking out just the right gift any easier. If you’re like me, you have quite a few friends and family that enjoy wine so these wine themed gifts might just help check off of few people on your list.

Top 5’s in 2015

The year is coming to an end and that means a lot of different things to different people. For us, it means that it’s time to check our champagne inventory, be sure we have something interesting on deck for New Year’s Eve, and wrap up the blog for the year. That’s right, it is time for the obligatory end of the year lists!

Christmas is this Friday!! (spoiler alert) I am here to show you a last minute gift idea — whether it be something you add on to a gift (may I suggest a nice bottle of wine) or to give as a stocking stuffer. Read on to see how to make this darling snowflake ornament.

A Trip Around the Sun

A mild fall Sunday afternoon was upon us and our husbands were ready to cheer on their teams (Fantasy, Raiders and 49ers). However, after a successful paint night (more on that later – #paintwithpurpose) taught by my best friend, Megan at my house, we were feeling antsy and thought a trip to a winery would be just the ticket.

Rise and Cheers! Our Trip Begins.

Tasting on the terrace. Not many things can get me out of bed “early” on a Saturday, but wine tasting is definitely at the top of the list. Katy had scheduled us an appointment at 10am at Gary Farrell, which was down the road from our fabulous studio and up a long hill, but don’t […]

Girls Weekend!

Two. Nine. Thirty-six. Two days. Nine wineries. Thirty-six cyclists. Simply put, the stats of one amazing weekend. Notice, however, there was not a count of the number of wines tasted because well, that might exceed the number of cyclist and that would be awkward. As I sit here savoring the last few drops of the […]

I am here to help you create an award winning antipasto platter that will wow your friends, ensure you are invited for picnic wine tasting and most importantly keep your little tummy full of more than just […]

#WTBharvest

They call it the Napa of the East Bay. The list of wineries has grown over the years and this year the Livermore Valley Wine Growers […]
